   Our company has been designing railway structures, parts for almost 20 years. Our professionals do this with the inclusion of specialized design offices.

During the design of railway water- and drainage-tanks we provide comprehensive design services, which include the computer-aided design of the products, strength test with finite-element program, thermal technology examination and the creation of all delivery and operational documentation.

During the design of railway and other structures we continuously focus on our customers’ requirements by cooperating with the customers’ (user) professionals.
Our professionals can create the complete manufacturing documentation based on just a sketch, continuously consulting with the customer.

During the development, installation of our self-devised and designed products we provide comprehensive services, and if necessary support our customers with on-site overseeing.
 

Manufacturing

Even based on unique requirements we accept:
  • steel-structure manufacturing up to 5t,
  • cutting,
  • lathing,
  • milling,
  • plain, envelope, boring and main-axle whetting,
  • spark cutting,
  • planing,
  • cogging.
 
The manufacture of DRV 2A beam adjuster parts is also an organic part of Szakálfém LLC’s manufacturing profile.
 
 

Painting

 

 We perform the water- or solvent-based painting of parts, devices manufactured by us in wall-ventilated painting cubicles.

 

Repairing

Szakálfém LLC. performs the professional workshop repairing of PB and BCF/F brake-cylinder family used in MÁV vehicles with the exclusive use of Faive TR parts. Amiens certification number: FTA RESS F 007.

We also perform the professional repairs of DRV type beam adjuster used in MÁV towed vehicles.

Our repair activities extend to the maintenance, repair, and restoration of construction industry equipment, devices, and excavation device parts, and the manufacturing of new parts.
 

Tool manufacturing

 

   Our company, Szakálfém LLC., accepts the manufacturing of tools based on individual design even in case of small orders.
For over 20 years we have manufactured press machinery, plate-shaping and die-casting machinery, and tools. We manufacture yoking and support structures for the machining and fixing of individually designed, varying parts.


With the brake pad mount machining device we can ensure the professional and accurate machining of brake pads used in railway vehicles.
 
 
 
 

Welding

 

    In the beginning Szakálfém LLC. has only dealt with carbonized steel tank welding for railway and other uses. With changes in requirements the complex construction of stainless-steel tanks has come into the forefront.

Our welding factory has the required contractor certification according to railway specifications, and can perform and document VT and PT examinations in its own authority.

At our new site we have built a modern welding factory with separate boxes, based on Fronuis type Trans Tig and Magic Wave machines. We have specific devices for length-weld creation, capable of max. 2100mm long welds.

Only qualified welders can work in our factory, and our employees performing welding supervision are continuously trained in their tasks.
